Ryan Chapin founded Trusted Consulting in 2021 after nearly three decades leading some of the most demanding engineering and operational programs in the aerospace industry — programs where being wrong cost millions, timelines were non-negotiable, and results were the only currency that mattered.

At GE Aviation, Ryan earned the title of Executive Engineering Manager — a distinction awarded to fewer than 1% of the company's technical leaders. Over 26 years, he led cross-functional teams across turbo machinery design, supply chain optimization, additive manufacturing, and the digital transformation of GE's engine services and MRO business. He served as Executive Engineering Leader for the Joint Strike Fighter F136 engine program, managing teams and budgets of up to $130 million across airfoil design, aeromechanics, and high-pressure compressor development. He later built and led a Digital Services and Solutions team whose data-driven strategies generated nearly $3 billion in customer and business value.

Ryan is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt — not a credential earned in a classroom, but forged leading more than 200 Black Belts through real operational improvement programs across one of the world's most complex manufacturing organizations.

He recently served as Fractional Corporate Engineering Officer at an aircraft modification business, where he led an international team modifying aircraft for commercial and military operators — bringing the same rigor and execution discipline to every Trusted Consulting engagement.
